Express_Lane
The Express Lane feature class is a line feature class representing existing, under construction, programmed, and proposed High Occupancy Vehicle lanes located on the state highway system.
The purpose of the Express Lane feature class is to show existing, under construction, programmed, and proposed High Occupancy Vehicle lanes located on the state highway system.
The locations of the Express Lane system are based on postmiles derived from an excel spreadsheet maintained by Caltrans, Division of Traffic Operations, Office of System Management Operations. For more information about this data, contact the Traffic Operations GIS Coordinator. The Express Lanes were placed with dynamic segmentation and are based on postmile locations provided by the Districts. Where lanes are proposed and the state highway is unconstructed, adopted routes were used.
